My stay at the condo townhouse lodges adjacent to the Lands End Hotel was a mixed bag. The location is unbeatable, with beautiful views and proximity to shops and restaurants. However, I encountered several issues with the room, including a noisy heater and a lack of hot water in the bathtub. The price of around $400 for a single night felt a bit steep considering these problems.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a horrifically loud heater that was a bit disruptive and there was no hot water in the bathtub, which made my stay less comfortable than I hoped.
Service
6.0
The service was incredible at first, especially when a staff member alerted us about local wildlife. However, later interactions were awkward, with staff not making eye contact or greeting us.
Location
10.0
The location is fabulous, right at the end of the spit with stunning views of gulls, boats, and sea otters from my room's balcony. It's also close to shops and restaurants, making it very convenient.
Dining
5.0
Dining had some ups and downs—while the view was amazing, the service was so-so. We waited quite a while for our food even after arriving right when they opened.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were standard but underwhelming given the price point. I expected more for my stay.

My stay at this hotel was quite a mix. The views from the rooms were stunning, easily the highlight of my trip, but the room itself was a bit cramped and had some issues like the heater making a loud noise. The location is fantastic, with easy access to shops and beautiful scenery, but the service left a bit to be desired in terms of communication. Overall, it's a decent value for money if you can overlook a few quirks.

Rooms

The room was new and nicely decorated, but it was small and overly hot, lacking a thermostat. I did have an issue with the heater which made a horrifically loud noise when turned on, and there was no hot water for the bathtub.
Service

The staff was quick and very good about making up the room, but I felt they could have been more engaged in providing reassurance and information during my stay.

The location is unbeatable, right at the end of the spit with breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean, making it perfect for both singles and couples looking for a getaway.

The hotel offers a spacious and clean environment with a friendly staff that made the stay enjoyable. It’s located close to amazing views, but be prepared to ignore some tacky tourist spots nearby. The dining options were decent, but there were limited affordable family breakfast choices. Overall, it’s good value for money if you're looking for a comfortable place to unwind.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The rooms were spacious and offered a nice view, but they were quite dusty, which was a bit uncomfortable. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, especially with COVID protocols in place. The location had stunning views of Kachemak Bay, although the tourist strip behind it was a downside. Overall, there were some good aspects, but a few improvements are definitely needed.

Rooms

The room was extra large and opened up to the parking lot, but it was super dusty; I had to leave the door open for three hours to air it out. It did have a lovely design that was enjoyable to experience.

This hotel offers a fantastic location right on the water, and the rooms are spacious and clean, which is a major plus. The service was friendly, but we did have a frustrating check-in experience. Dining options are somewhat limited and felt overpriced for what was offered. Overall, I would say the hotel has its pros and cons but is decent value for money if you prioritize location.
